One of the most anticipated movies of 2008 has finally arrived. It was aired here in Sri Lanka the same day as US, May 2nd.

The story revolves around billionaire playboy Tony Stark, an arms manufacturer played by Robert Downey, Jr who is wounded and taken hostage when an Afghan terrorists group attacks them during a mega-missile demo held in a mountain camp. After surviving the ordeal, he builds a suit to escape and once back in his mansion starts to re-think his life and builds a better, more powerful suit to save those in need.
